A free Well-Architected Review. No invoice, no obligation.
We review one of your AWS workloads against the six Well-Architected pillars and hand you a fix list ranked by what actually bites first. We pay for the engineering time. You keep the findings whether you hire us or not.
An engineering review, not an accredited assessment.
Why it is free, plainly
Because it is how we start conversations. We would rather spend a week in your account than send you a capability deck. Some reviews turn into engagements. Most do not, and that is a fair trade for us.
Nobody at AWS funds this and nobody reimburses us. That matters, because it means the findings are not shaped by a program's reporting requirements. We look at your workload, we tell you what we would fix, and the document is yours to take to anyone — including a competitor of ours.
We run a limited number each month, because engineers do them and engineers are the constraint.
The six pillars, and the question we ask in each
The AWS Well-Architected Framework defines the pillars. These are the questions we actually chase inside them.
When this breaks at 2am, who finds out, and what do they read?
If one credential leaks, how far does it reach before anything stops it?
What single component takes the whole workload down with it?
Which resource is sized for a load you no longer have?
What are you paying for that nothing reads, calls or needs?
Where does the workload burn capacity it never uses?
What happens, and when
About two weeks from your request to the document, and roughly three hours of your team's time in total.
What you get, itemised
All of it yours, in writing, with no watermark and no expiry.
Who this fits
The review is free, so we are honest about where it is worth your time and ours.
A good fit
One production workload on AWS, a named technical owner who can grant read-only access, and a real reason to ask — a security review ahead of you, a cost that has crept, or a system you inherited.
A poor fit
Nothing running yet, no access possible, or a procurement process that needs an accredited assessor. We will tell you on day zero rather than waste two weeks.
What it is not
It is an engineering review by engineers. It is not an accredited assessment, a certification, or an audit, and we never present it as one. Where you need an accredited assessor, we work alongside yours.

tMinus1 built Automatum — multi-tenant SaaS, metered billing, marketplace integrations across AWS, Azure and GCP. 80+ software companies run their marketplace revenue through it, and we still operate it. When we flag a reliability risk, it is because we have been woken by one.
You spend about three hours with us and we learn whether we would be useful to each other. If the review turns up work you want done, we will quote it. If it does not, you keep the document and we part on good terms. There is no fee and no follow-up sequence.
It uses the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its six pillars, and we are an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner. It is our own engineering review against that framework. It is not an accredited assessment and it carries no AWS funding, credits or certification. If you need the funded program, say so and we will tell you honestly where we can and cannot help.
A read-only role scoped to the workload, which you create and revoke. We install nothing, we write nothing, and no data leaves your account. If read-only access is impossible, a screen-share session works, and the review takes a little longer.
You and us. We do not publish it, we do not use your name in marketing without written permission, and we will sign your NDA before we start if you want one.
The free review covers one. Pick the one that worries you most. A whole-estate review is real work and we quote it as such.
One workload. Two weeks. No invoice.
Name the workload that worries you. We will tell you within a day whether it fits.
