A free Well-Architected Review of one AWS workload.
We review one of your AWS workloads against the six Well-Architected pillars and hand you a fix list ranked by what actually bites first. We pay for the engineering time. You keep the findings whether you hire us or not.
No fee. No obligation. An engineering review, not an accredited assessment.
What it costs you
No fee, and no obligation to engage us afterwards. We absorb the engineering time because it is a better way to meet an engineering team than a capability deck.
Your team's total time. Ninety minutes with your technical owner, a sixty-minute walkthrough at the end, and a little setup.
From your booking to the written review landing in your inbox. We do the reading ourselves between those two sessions.
What you get, itemised
All of it yours, in writing, with no watermark and no expiry.
What we need from your account
This is the question most teams ask first, so here is the whole answer.
A read-only role, scoped to the one workload, which you create and you revoke.
We install nothing. We write nothing. No data leaves your account — we read your configuration, not your customers' records. You can watch every action in your own CloudTrail, and you can withdraw the role the moment the review ends.
If read-only access is impossible inside your organisation, a screen-share session works instead. The review takes a little longer and the findings are a little shallower, and we will say so.
We will sign your NDA before we start if you want one. We do not publish findings, and we do not use your name in marketing without written permission.
Who this suits
The review costs nothing, so we are honest about where it is worth your time and ours.
- One production workload running on AWS.
- A named technical owner who can grant read-only access.
- A real reason to ask — a security review ahead of you, a cost that has crept, or a system you inherited.
- Nothing running yet — there is nothing for us to read.
- No access possible, and no screen share either.
- A procurement process that needs an accredited assessor. We are not one, and we will tell you so on day zero.

tMinus1 built Automatum — multi-tenant SaaS, metered billing, marketplace integrations across AWS, Azure and GCP. 80+ software companies run their marketplace revenue through it, with $120M+ transacted, and we still operate it. When we flag a reliability risk, it is because we have been woken by one.
Book your review
Pick a time that suits you. The first call is thirty minutes with an engineer, and we confirm on that call whether your workload fits.
Scheduler not loading? Open the booking page directly at meetings-ap1.hubspot.com/tminus1, or request the review by form. You can also email hey@tminus1.io and name the workload.

You spend about three hours with us, and we both learn whether we would be useful to each other. If the review turns up work you want done, we will quote it. If it does not, you keep the document and we part on good terms. There is no fee and no follow-up sequence.
It uses the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its six pillars, and we are an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner. It is our own engineering review against that framework. It is not an accredited assessment, a certification or an audit, and it carries no AWS funding or credits — we pay for this ourselves.

The free review covers one. Pick the one that worries you most. A whole-estate review is real work, and we quote it as such.
